Benalla Lake, Benalla

An artificial lake not shown on the map but located on the Broken River in the City of Benalla adjacent to the gardens. Very accessible for most of its shoreline. Contains some brown trout to 1 kg, redfin to 720g, carp to 2.9 kg, and golden perch to 1.2 kg, average 920g. The Department is attempting to develop a golden perch fishery by annual stocking.

ive got redies up to 2kg. yellow belly up to 3kg(40cm) there are alot of carp but if u spin they wont bother you. they are fun to catch on bait!

Terrible fishing in this lake catch yourself a carp and an odd yella fishing victoria neeed to stock this location with murray cod and more golden perch
