Benalla Lake, Benalla
An artificial lake not shown on the map but located on the
Broken River in the City of Benalla adjacent to the gardens. Very
accessible for most of its shoreline. Contains some brown trout to 1
kg, redfin to 720g, carp to 2.9 kg, and golden perch to 1.2 kg,
average 920g. The Department of Primary Industries is attempting to develop a golden perch
fishery by annual stocking.
