Boga Lake, Lake Boga
Adjacent to the town, surrounded by grazing land, 906 ha, sand
bottom. Part of RWC distribution system supplying water to orchards,
vineyards and pasture in the Kerang-Swan Hill area. Boat ramp,
caravan park and picnic facilities, with separate areas for boating
and fishing. Open to amateur netting within the provisions and
entitlements of an Amateur Netting Licence. Contains mostly redfin
to 2 kg, carp to 3. 4 kg, tench, goldfish, occasional Murray cod,
bony bream, silver perch and golden perch. Abundant aquatic weed
makes a boat necessary for successful fishing.
