Cann River, Cann River
A swift shallow river flowing through forested country in the
upper reaches and grazing land downstream, sand bottom. Severe bank
erosion and sedimentation in some stream sections, particularly
downstream. Carries grayling and occasional brown trout to 500g,
long-finned and short-finned eels. Estuary section contains bream,
luderick, flathead, estuary perch and mullet.
