Cooper Lake, Corop
Surrounded by open farm land. Together with Greens Lake forms the
Corop Lakes. An RWC operational storage filled by gravity when
surplus water is available from the Waranga Western Main Channel.
Water has to be pumped back out into the supply system. Zoned for
boating, including a water-ski area used for competitions. Carries
carp to 3.2 kg, redfin to 800g and goldfish. Currently open to
amateur netting for fish under the entitlements and provisions of an
Amateur Netting License. Check with the Department for details.
