Cullen Lake, Kerang
Saline lake, 615 ha, sand and mud bottom, surrounded by open
land. Open to amateur netting within the provisions and entitlements
of an Amateur Netting Licence. Part of RWC- distribution system
supplying water to orchards, vineyards and pasture in the Kerang-Swan
Hill area. Seldom angled. Used to contain abundant bony bream,
redfin to 2 kg, tench, carp goldfish and Murray cod, but is now
reported to carry no fish.
