Dart River, Dartmouth

Flows through forested mountains, gravel bed. Part of the river submerged to become the Dart Arm of Lake Dartmouth. Accessible only by 4WD vehicles or by boat from Lake Dartmouth. Carries abundant brown trout to 400g, some rainbow trout to 200g, numerous river blackfish to 80g and a few small redfin and Macquarie perch at some times of the year.
