Dartmouth Pondage, Dartmouth

A regulating pondage for water used to generate electricity. The wall is approximately 5 km downstream from the main dam. Contains brown trout to 2.1 kg although fish are generally smaller, some rainbow trout and redfin, and an occasional Macquarie perch. While fishing is not prohibited, caution should be exercised when fishing as water level can rise very quickly.
