Elizabeth Lake, Kerang
Weedy shallow 80 ha saline lake surrounded by grazing land, sand
bottom. Part of RWC distribution system supplying water to orchards,
vineyards and pasture in the Kerang-Swan Hill area. Open to amateur
netting within the provisions and entitlements of an Amateur Netting
Licence. Caravan park and boat ramp. Used to contain redfin to 1. 87
kg, tench, goldfish and bony bream, but is now too saline to support
fish. Boating is prohibited.
