Lake Guy / Junction Dam, Bogong
Lake Guy/Junction Dam is a 17 ha storage dam for the
hydro-electric scheme, surrounded by steep bush-clad mountains.
Contains brown trout to 2.5 kg. Not stocked as there is adequate
trout spawning upstream in the Kiewa River, which maintains a good
fish population in the storage, and ensures quick replacement of
fish lost when the storage is drawn down or emptied for maintenance
works and scouring of accumulated silt.
