Upper Murray River Basin
Limestone Creek, Headwater of Indi River
Flows through high plains country with snow grass and patches of
timber. The only vehicle access is where the Benambra - Black
Mountain Road crosses the stream. Walking necessary to reach the
rest of the creek. Contains many small brown trout and rainbow trout
average 100g. Last stocked with trout by the Department in 1962.
