Meering Lake, Kerang
Also called Big Lake Meran. Surrounded by agricultural land, sand
bottom. Camping facilities and boat ramp, with zones for
speedboating and fishing. Contains mainly carp to 2. 3 kg, redfin to
1.7 kg, tench, goldfish, occasional Murray cod, and abundant bony
bream to 880g. Stocking with Murray cod to restore
the cod population appears to have been unsuccessful.
