Mitta Mitta River Basin
Morass Creek, Benambra
Flows through forest and grazing land, gravel and clay bed. Low
water flow and level during the summer months reduces the fishing
potential of this stream. Relatively inaccessible and probably only
lightly fished. Contains brown trout average 250g maximum 1.25 kg
and some river blackfish. Last stocked with trout by the Department
in 1976.
