Mueller River, Point Hicks

A small coastal stream flowing through forest and tea tree, mud and sand bed. Access is difficult and requires local knowledge. Can be reached from a turnoff approximately 35 km down the Point Hicks Road. The last 3 km of track is rough and impassable during wet weather. Estuary contains bream, mullet, luderick, estuary perch and a variety of other estuary species. It is popular with a small number of local anglers during the holiday season.
