Race Course Lake, Kerang

Surface area: 241 ha-
Capacity: 5,300 Ml

Small very weedy lake, mud and sand bottom, surrounded by open land and citrus groves. Part of RWC distribution system supplying water to orchards, vineyards and pasture in the KerangSwan Hill area. Open to amateur netting within the provisions and entitlements of an Amateur Netting Licence. Boat required for angling. Contains redfin to 1. 5 kg, tench, carp to 3 kg, Murray cod, silver perch, golden perch, goldfish and bony bream. Not heavily fished.
