Sydenham Inlet, Bemm River

and sand bottom. Caravan and camping facilities and cabins
available, good access road from the Princes Highway. Entrance to
the sea closes at times resulting in a considerable rise in water
level. Carries bream to 1. 6 kg, trevally, estuary perch to 1. 2 kg,
yellow-eye mullet, tailor, whiting, sea mullet, long-finned eel and

smaller, below the freshwater at the "falls". Inlet is popular with
experienced bream anglers and fished mainly from June to December.
Local bait usually available. Local information is readily available
and should be sought on fishing locations and methods.
Note: A bag limit of 10 bream per day applies to Sydenham Inlet
and the inflowing Bemm River.
