Taponga River, Enoch Point

A tributary of the Big River just upstream from Lake Eildon. A fast flowing river in forested country. Access is a problem except for the lower reaches above its junction with the Big River. Contains abundant small rainbow trout under 220g and a few large brown trout, usually taken April-June, also small river blackfish. Last stocked with trout by Department in 1978.
