Surrounded by grazing land. Forms part of the RWC Wimmera-Mallee
water supply system. Filled from Grampians storages. Contains redfin
to 1. 6 kg and occasional Murray cod and trout. Most redfin are
caught at the outlet. 'Stocked with Murray cod since
1981.
